ROARIN' THROUGH THE POCKET 5K

A 5K Race/Run/Walk through the Seymour Park scenic trail system, known as "The Greenbelt", in the Greenhaven/Pocket neighborhood

Start and finish of the event will be adjacent to:

Greenhaven Cabana Club (South)

6615 Gloria Drive, Sacramento, CA. 95831.

Parking will be on the street.

Entry fee will be $30 per individual

Schedule:

Race--Starts At 8:00 a.m.*

Run--Starts At 8:15 a.m.**

Walk--Starts At 8:30 a.m.

(Dogs are allowed only on the Walk)

*If you plan on joining the "Race" portion of the event, be at the starting line at 8:00 a.m. There will not be any official timing of the race, nor racing bibs, but there will be a timing-clock at the finishing line.

**Should you just want to run the course, without worrying about your time or using it as a competitive event, be at the starting line at 8:15 a.m.

Prize money of $50 will be awarded to the men's and women's first-place winners, $30 to the men's and women's second-place winners, and $20 to the men's and women's third-place winners, for those that choose to participate in the "Race" event.

There will be no participant medals given out at this event.

All proceeds from the "Roarin' Through The Pocket 5K" event will be donated to the Senator Lions Club of Sacramento for their charitable endeavors
