The 5K (3.1-Mile) Course

Starting next to the Cabana Club (South) facility, the course will head south through the "Greenbelt" area, thereby utilizing the concrete pathways that intertwine within the park. About three-fourths of a mile into the route, runners will ascend the Florin Road pedestrian overpass, and continue towards the canal section of the course.

Running over the small Asian-inspired bridge, participants will make a right-hand turn, then run parallel to the water canal, until they reach Portuguese Park. Once they reach Portuguese Park, the course will encircle the playing fields, and then crossover the water canal using another small bridge, heading back along a pathway on the opposite side of the canal towards the "Greenbelt" section of the course.

Traversing again over the Florin Road pedestrian overpass, participants will veer to the left and run on the west side of the park, before connecting to the single pathway that will lead them to the finish-line.

A Very Scenic Course

The course ambles through tree-lined pathways, crosses over a large bridge, and a number of smaller ones, skirting along water canals that intersect the parkway system, while on a trail that is typically only used for pedestrian traffic.
